11 Apr 1964 VW Deluxe Beetle
While this is one of millions of VW Beetles produced in Germany, it’s historical significance comes by way of ownership. This car was purchased in 1990 from a farmer in Port Colburne Ontario who had imported the car from Buffalo NY. The farmer had intentions of restoring the car but decided to sell it instead. I purchased the car from him using money meant to pay for university. So began a passion for old cars and old VW’s that’s lasted for over 21 years. Future plans include passing the car on to my daughter when she’s old enough to drive. This is the first time the car has seen any snow since I’ve owned it.
