08 Jun Blows Hot and Cold: 1935 Ford Tudor Humpback
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Creemore Valley Classics VIP Stories #59
I sold my classic truck last summer, so the hunt was on for a new ride. I found this one in Mississauga in February.
It’s a 1935 Ford Tudor Humpback, Viper Red with a rebuild 327 c.i. and rebuilt 350 Turbo shift transmission with a shift kit.
This vehicle has heating and air conditioning, CD player, power windows and remote access. It took 8 years for a complete
Frame off restoration and during that time, the top was chopped 3 inches. The day I picked it up was a mild 15 degree Sunny February day, so I decided to plate it and drive it back to Elmvale, Ont. I thought it would be a good test to see if everything works.
I was impressed with how much heat was being blasted out of the vents even on low fan. All the gauges work, even the wiper.
It drew a lot of attention as truckers and cars were blowing horns and a thumbs up in appreciation.
