This 289 cubic inch Automatic Ford Fairlane XL and much beloved gem of ours began life in 1966 with a fresh red body and white convertible top . Purchased in Aylmer, Ontario, it needed extensive renovation to involved to even begin to outline here.
However, anyone who’s interested in that story I’m happy to oblige upon connection at a car show or cruise night. Rest assure, this car has been brought back to a much deserved look of respectability and in time to hand off for my grandson to borrow for his high school prom last spring.
